Everything you need to know about using Indian Stock Tracker.
Yes. Core research pages — market overview, stock search and analysis, screeners, IPOs, and news — are free to browse, and many are available without even creating an account. A free account unlocks personal features like portfolios, watchlists, and price alerts.
No account is needed to explore market data, search stocks, view analysis, run built-in screeners, or read the news. You only need a free account to save portfolios, build watchlists, set alerts, or use AI-assisted research.
We cover equities listed on India's two main exchanges — the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) — along with major indices such as the Nifty 50, Sensex, Bank Nifty, and sector indices.
Each stock receives a composite score built from six dimensions: valuation, growth, financial health, technical setup, momentum, and ownership quality. Each dimension is scored from 0 to 100 and the overall score is their average. It's a quick way to compare stocks — but it is a starting point for research, not a buy or sell signal.
BTST ("Buy Today, Sell Tomorrow") screens highlight stocks with short-term technical setups. LTS ("Long Term Stocks") screens focus on fundamentally strong companies for longer horizons. You can also build your own filters in the Custom Screener. Learn more in our Guides.
Prices and market data refresh on regular schedules throughout the trading day, with more frequent price updates during market hours and deeper fundamental refreshes on a slower cadence. Some data may be delayed; always verify before acting on it.

Yes. You can search and compare mutual fund schemes side by side across returns, risk metrics (volatility, Sharpe ratio, drawdown), holdings, and portfolio overlap.
Create a portfolio, add your holdings with quantity and buy price, and the platform calculates live profit & loss, today's change, allocation by sector and market cap, and performance versus a benchmark. Your portfolio data is private to your account.
